The Siedle App transforms your iPhone or iPad into a portable enhancement of your Siedle door intercom system, offering the convenience of remotely seeing and conversing with visitors at your door, and granting access from wherever you may be located. The app establishes a connection through WLAN or mobile network, delivering prompt video feedback. With a focus on maintaining high speech quality in line with Siedle's rigorous standards, users can effortlessly open doors by tapping the familiar key symbol on their devices. The app also allows management of multiple door intercoms simultaneously.

Users are advised that the audio signal transmitted by the Siedle app operates via the mobile phone network data channel (VoIP), which could potentially have limitations or associated costs depending on network provider conditions and tariffs. Additionally, some providers may attempt to hinder or restrict VoIP functionality; voice quality is contingent upon the local mobile network signal strength.

The Siedle app serves as an on-the-go complement to your door intercom system and is ideally used alongside a wired indoor station in system planning, recommended by Siedle. Key features include audio and video door communication, door release and light switching, hands-free function, secure door release, in-call volume adjustment, microphone muting, manual door dialing, system picture memory access, customizable Siedle ringtones, and support for multiple locations. The app also boasts advanced functionalities like switching menu and storey call in specific versions.

System requirements comprise firmware versions for Smart Gateway (SG), Access Professional software, as well as Siedle IQ HTS and IQ HTA systems with details specified for each. Users can connect up to four participants via the Siedle app to a single IQ In-house telephone by adding them under "Account - manage other devices."

The frame rate of video streams transmitted from the Siedle system to the Siedle Server dynamically adjusts based on available bandwidth during door calls. Minimum and recommended bandwidths determine frame rates for optimal viewing experience.
